Synopsis:

Dabangg is a movie that has been made his own by Salman Khan. The film tells the story of a Robin Hood-type cop named Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan), who is a corrupt police officer, but has his own way of judging right and wrong. Pandey has had a forgettable childhood after his mother (Dimple Kapadia) married Prajapati Pandey (Vinod Khanna). Makhanchan (Arbaaz Khan) is Chulbul's half-brother who is given preference in everything, which makes the latter a bitter child. Chulbul meets Rajo (Sonakshi Sinha), who quells the bitter bile in him and kindles a spark for his family. However his detractors led by Cheddi Singh (Sonu Sood) set brother against brother by getting Makhanchan to unknowingly commit a wrong. A cornered Makhanchan turns to Chulbul for help. What happens next with the brothers forms the crux of the story.
